he Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) is hosting their “Manufacturing Matters!” conference on May 17, 2011 featuring a range of workshops and panels founded in the principles of Next Generation Manufacturing and focused on high-impact talent management. Eleven workshops will be presented in the morning and 6 special sessions are scheduled for the afternoon; two keynote speakers will share their insights about high-impact talent management. WMEP will highlight FINTEL’s Business Analyzer and other FINTEL tools designed especially for manufacturers to help improve decision making.

In affiliation with the Wisconsin School of Business, the Small Business Development Center of Wisconsin is offering a special program in Financial Analysis and Benchmarking for Your Growing Business. On May 19, 2010, Dr. Phil Greenwood will address the growing needs of business owners, managers, financial officers and accountants to understand the working capital requirements of business growth. Traditional methods of measuring working capital and their inherent weaknesses will be discussed. An introduction into calculating your firm’s Net Balance Position (NBP) will be highlighted, and an overview of this expanded statement analysis will offer you a more powerful method of monitoring and preparing for potential liquidity challenges. Dr. Phil Greenwood will also show how FINTEL’s benchmarking and analysis tools can be used to evaluate business performance and offer powerful insights into financial decisions. This special program will address how these tools help and support your development of a financial strategy, aimed at becoming a top performer in your industry. .

Six modules will be presented in both morning and afternoon workshops, outlining Customer Focused Innovation, Advanced Talent Management, Systemic Continuous Improvement, Extended Enterprise Management, Sustainable Product and Process Development, and Global Engagement. WMEP will highlight FINTEL’s Business Analyzer as an essential tool for Improved Decision Making, presenting the importance of reliable Benchmarking, Comparative Analysis, and Financial Forecasting for Systemic Continuous Improvement.
